Run the We Run Madrid - San Silvestre Vallecana 2015 with .Tuenti

Posted on 11/19/2015 by Kiko Gámez, Global Brand & Marketing Director

We want to start the year by exceeding our targets, which is why today we are announcing our sponsorship of the We Run Madrid - San Silvestre Vallecana 2015 race in Madrid, a race that began in 1964 with fewer than 100 participants and which, 51 years and many thousands of runners later, still represents those values of achievement and sportsmanship on which it was founded and which our team so strongly identify with.

As any Madrid-based runner knows, the race, organized by Nike, will start on December 31 at 17.30 from Concha Espina (next to the Santiago Bernabéu) and will finish near the stadium in Vallecas. The registration period opens next Monday, November 23, and will remain open until December 9.

Any runners in Madrid on New Year's Eve? See you there.

We have won the ADSLZone Innovation Award 2015!

Posted on 11/06/2015 by .Tuenti Team

Last night the 5th edition of the ADSLZone group awards for technological excellence was held in Madrid, a meeting where the best telephony products and services of the year in Spain could be found, and our team received the Carrier of the Year Award in the innovation category.

For the third consecutive year we are recognized as deserving of this award. In 2013 we won it for Zerolímites and in 2014 for VozDigital, this year it’s for offering cloud telephony services without needing a physical SIM card, and even without GSM coverage. Once again our firm commitment to introduce pioneering innovations and unprecedented value added services in the industry has been recognised.

For another year we would like to thank the ADSLZone team for valuing our work in this way, which we do every day with great enthusiasm and pride. We continue to work to bring more surprises in 2016!

Data Stop now available for postpaid customers

Posted on 10/07/2015 by Anna Réti, Associate Product Manager

From today, all our postpaid customers can stop their data connection in Spain via the .Tuenti app once their data Bundle has run out, thanks to the Data Stop option. This means they won’t miss out on a single detail regarding their mobile line and can manage their data usage at all times, avoiding additional charges for Internet connections outside their Bundle.

With this optional functionality enabled, our customers will be unable to browse the Internet from their mobile handset but may continue using .Tuenti to call, share moments or manage their phone line because, as always, using our app doesn’t eat into your data or credit.

This functionality can be enabled and disabled at any time in the Services section via the .Tuenti app on smartphone or tablet or via the website on computer. If Data Stop is disabled, Internet connections are charged at 3.63 cents/MB and the Internet connection speed will remain unchanged. You can find out all the info on Data Stop here.
